Can the NF3 do single coil via the 5 way selector?

As above really, saw a really nice NF3 which peaked my interest but want something different to my Stripped 58 and CU24. Was thinking of the Brent Mason because it can do single coil. Can the 5 way selector switch make it single coil like a strat?

The 5-way mimics the Strat positions but it's not a single-coil guitar by any means.

That said, the "in-between" positions (2 and 4) get *very* close to the archetypal counterpart sound on a Strat. It's pretty uncanny considering positions 1, 3 and 5 don't really sound like a Strat at all. I don't know how they managed that, but it's pretty cool.
