Can maple neck be black from behind?

This post kinda sank without a trace, so I'll re-float it a bit.

You can order pretty well almost anything you want from the Private Stock "system" at PRS through your local dealer. Or go with an Artist Package: you can specify ebony fretboard and maple neck, and the Cu24 has Charcoal Burst as a standard color - I would imagine ordering the black finish instead of whatever might be standard would be pretty easy, since black is a standard finish on the back/neck/headstock of many non-artist package colors.

Contact your dealer, see what they can do.

The SE Mushok has a maple neck painted black with an ebony fretboard. At least, if you buy the silverburst one, the neck is black.

Strangely enough, I think the only way you'll get it is SE or Private Stock, not a Core line. The closest SE I can think of would be a Paul Allender. It's 24 fret, black maple neck, but no maple top. So it's really closer in relation to the Standard 24, like the Mahoney.
