What are you into musically while training, and most importantly, what is PRS driven?

I always have Tremonti(AB/CREED/SOLO), Journey, Nugent, Jason Aldean, Submersed, Eye Empire, 3 Doors Down, and Sevendust in my monitors.

Weight training - listen to the news
Cycling - listen to traffic (I'm not very trusting of motor vehicles)
running - I don't believe in running
in door cardio trainer - some old vinyl I've digitiized and haven't heard in a while - most recently Johnny Winter and Stevie Winwood

There is no better weight training music than RATM.

I listen to the Fat Boys... Seriously.

It gets me psyched to lose weight so I can eat doughnuts again.

The heavier the music the better for me. I listened to Whitechapel today. I find working out a great time to listen to full albums.

When I train, I like listening to Korn, Linkin Park and the like. Gotta get the motivation going.

Cycling: nothing
Running: my knees won't permit it
Lifting and indoor aerobics: Ramones and Green Day primarily.

Wife and I both been rocking out to the below something fierce.

The Acacia Strain - Death is the Only Mortal

RATM is great for training, especially Evil Empire.

Cycling - nothing, I like to hear cars coming up behind me.

Running - nothing, I work on my form every time I run. If I'm making no noise then I'm doing it right (and my body thanks me for it). If anyone is interested in low impact running, let me know!

Stationary bike - TV, usually Craig Ferguson, but also concert DVDs.

Cycling (bike trail), walking, cutting grass - just a variety of stuff thrown on an iPod Shuffle in shuffle mode. I never know what's coming up next.

I do know this from experience - a couple years ago, I did about a 35-mile ride very early in the season, so my legs weren't in great shape. I was struggling coming back, especially the last two-three miles, and just when I needed that up-tempo hard-hitting boost...a comedy routine came on. UGH! So not what I needed at that moment!

Nothing for me when cycling or running. Both activities are my time to unplug and give full attention to the task at hand. I like to be fully aware of my surroundings.

When cross-training I usually just put my collection on shuffle, which doesn't always pan out. I really should steal some of these suggestions and make a playlist of my own. Early Staind and Disturbed would work well. Anything heavy, really. For something PRS oriented, some Butterfly Effect would be good.

I find working out a great time to listen to full albums.

100% agreed. Working out is when I get myself acquainted with a lot of new, full albums.

Last few albums Ive had in the ollll ear buds while lifting weights:

Every Time I die - Ex Lives
The new Killswitch Engage Album (like Howard Jones as the front man better, BUT, new album is killer)
Rise Against - Endgame
Underoath - Define The Great Line
