Coldplay featured Dick Van Dyke, the '60s film and TV comedy star, in a video for one of the songs on their new record.

It's a sentimental video featuring a sentimental song. I don't usually go in for this kinda emotional razzmatazz. But I like it anyway. This is the director's cut.

Doesn't matter whether you like Coldplay or not (I do). It's a sweet little piece of film.

Discuss among yourselves, I need to place a call to Linda Richman. I'm a little verklempt.

You’re just emotional from the win over the Packers. :)
After Michigan somewhat salvaged their season against Ohio State in the Horseshoe, I rocked the afterglow for a few days and completely forgot to watch it!

Love Dick Van Dyke. What a life!
Right? It's wonderful to see him still sharp!

You missed a good game! And your coach ensures every ride is a roller coaster. Though I’ve not been a Lions fan over the years, I find myself hoping they shake that monkey off their backs this year! I’m seeing a Detroit/Buffalo match at the end if injuries don’t doom the Lions’ year.

Back to your post, I really hadn’t listened to Coldplay before “Adventure of A Lifetime,” but have come to like some of their music since.

By a twist of fate, Buffalo's original team owner (Ralph Wilson) was one of the partners in the Detroit Lions before William Clay Ford bought the partners out in 1962.

Only someone from Detroit could appreciate having a team in Buffalo, where the weather is just as bad! 😂
