I do only have a pair of 513s, but they are different enough to keep both.
A few friends of mine own a bunch of LPs and Strats and I wonder, why and what differs among them?

There are enough reasons to buy so to say twins or siblings, but as @László highlighted, when you loose yourself in comparison something severely went wrong.
Maybe then it could be best to say goodbye to the twins/siblings instead of figuring out extensively what are the competive advantages of each guitar, selling one, and then regretting the sale.

I play about a 50/50 split between tuned normally and down half a step, and use that to justify having multiple sets of "twins"
