Been a really busy week for me.
Bluegrass band that I play banjo with worked last Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday, day of rest.
Regular band played Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

Don't know, I seem to becoming someone to call when people can't make the gig.
Was able to play and sing some cool songs.

This is one ... very unknown but fabulous.
I only play in standard tuning or dropped D. Everything else is just a PITA.
Check it out.

Also played and sang this. Lots of primo licks to add to your arsenal, if you are able to discern them.

There were lots of others ...

Being "someone to call" is certainly a good thing for a musician to be.

I dig Delbert. Always liked "Hot Legs" too. Such a great guitar tune. Makes me think of the Stones, and you can hear the influence on bands like Georgia Satellites and Black Crowes.

Thx for the comments. Right on target.
They are a couple of great songs.
Hot Legs is a little childish, but I don't care. Tons of chewy licks and mucho fun.
Plus, I always add another guitar break to it.
I've never heard another band play it, but it always goes over well.

I remember seeing a TV show, must have been in the nineties, with Delbert, Lee Roy Parnell and Travis Tritt playing together.
They did Lee Roy's version of Statesboro Blues and a combo (medley) of a Tritt and Delbert song. Tres cool. Wish I could find it.

Summer, busy time of year.
My Studio (2NF's and 57/08) just covers everything I'm capable of playing. A real gem.
So my rig is real simple now ... Studio > G5 > Amp. Priceless.
:)

Yeah. Excellent bit of kit. Have to read the manual, check forums and put a little effort into it, but once u do, gives me everything I need.
And, it sounds really, really good.

Word. I have a lil' board with a G3 and a couple of MS50g's. I'm diggin' 'em!
