Brushed Gold Pickup Covers ?

wow..Thought it would be easy to get these..not so ...does somebody hold a patent on this ?..is there a homemade technique to do this yourself ?..Thanks

MY 2012 SC58 came with them, so I know they've been produced by PRS.

Someone on another forum demonstrated a technique for creating brushed pickups, but gold ones might be more susceptible to having the gold plating come off.

Thanks LSchefman..I found a pickup that works very well..but its only offered in chrome covers..lol !!..its always something finally have the sound now its about looks lol

Would love this option. Have my eye on Artist Package Cu22 with Orange Tiger and Gold hardware. Would love uncovered or Gold covered \m/ pickups to complete the package!
