I know a ton of you guys are big fans of John Mann products (awesome guy the few times I spoke with him) so I'd like to pose a question. Does anyone have any of his unplated brass saddles and if so how do you like them? I was originally considering swapping out the trem on on my SCT for one of his one piece units but I think I'll just swap the saddles. Truthfully I am doing this to get the hybrid hardware kind of look and I just wanted to know what tonal changes if any I should expect swapping for unplated saddles.

I feel they add a little more brilliance and clarity... and look badass.

I think the PRS ones are brass as well. Don't know how the plating affects sound... When I changed the chrome saddless on my 513 to gold ones, didn't notice anything...

More clarity sounds good to me and badass is definitely what I'm going for.

I currently have the older saddles on my guitar. The new saddles have the plating polished off in the string slots.
