You know what a loon is, noodle head?
I've been thinking about getting a Boss RC-1 but I'm worried the buffer will cause noise. I don't own any boss pedals yet and have had mixed results with other pedals in the effects loop of the Archon:
My TC flashback and hall of fame each are very quiet when off, but introduce a little hiss when I turn them on.
One time I set the flashback and hall of fame to buffered bypass mode and they were ridiculously noisy when off.
When the flashback is in looper mode it is noisy even when off.
My Behringer EQ is noisy when on, but quiet when off.
For a test I threw my Wampler Tumnus (buffered bypass) into the effects loop and it was quiet when off but noisy when on. This proves to me that certain buffers in the effects loop can be okay, even if the TC buffers were not okay.
What have your experiences been with Boss buffers in the effects loop of an Archon?
