Bodia Is Now Officially “Mr. Forum”

Living in the Midwest, we'd pronounce that as Bo Dee Uh, and he lives right up the holler down by the crick.
Since the nickname originated in Iowa, this would be the correct pronunciation. I, too, lived down by the crick. Thirty three years in Chicago and I still say "crick" and "warsh".

Oh, I completely understand. It's funny how some regional dialects are evidently set for life, growing up near STL, highway 40 and 44 were pronounced highway farty and farty far by almost everyone. I still catch myself sometimes saying it that way when we head back home...:D
