If you lived in Detroit in the 60s and 70s, chances are you also saw Seger a TON at various venues, before his career really took off.

I will always play Seger songs. Saw him on the American Storm tour in December of 1986 and it's still one of my favorite concerts.

How many of you can remember when this came out? It was a long time ago. I believe this was his first major label release. Look at the band name on the 45rpm:

I saw two shows on this tour, and my buddy saw a few more including the last show in Philly. He’s not giving up the road because he can’t sing - his voice has held up very well, and he still has good stage energy.

FWIW, the official announcement says it’s the last North American show of the tour - I believe he’s said there may be the odd show on occasion, especially because he didn’t play Detroit on the last leg. I doubt he’s going to do anything in Europe or elsewhere, but who knows?
