My 16 year old son loves the guitar and plays bass, acoustic and electric. He is considering going thru a guitar craftsman program post high school. Does the Galloup Guitar School in Michigan have a good reputation? Is this a good credential to have if you want to work for a guitar manufacturer or work in a small custom shop? Thanks. I'm new to all of this. Want to encourage my son.

I haven't heard of that one in particular, but that's not a judgement either way. Roberto-Venn in Phoenix AZ seems to be the "industry standard" luthierie school, and I'm not saying that just because I used to live just down the street.
