considering he bent more than just one of the notes - it turns out to be a 6 note solo. 4 would have been impressive in it's simplicity, but 6 out of 7 possible notes in key is not that impressive.

I'm not saying it is bad - I'm saying that there is a lot more there than just 4 notes....
I was interested in his stuff a couple of years ago. He's always talking about his full roster of students and how he learned this and that from teaching them. He's only an hour from me so I thought PERFECT - I'll buy the DVD's and then get some in person lessons to follow up.... SO I emailed and asked if I could get lessons. "Sorry, full". "Okay, put me on the waiting list". "Sorry, I'm phasing out Students."... Then a few video's later " I learned this while teaching one of my new students...'
Yes, very fishy... Though if he can't count the actual number of notes he is using, should we expect him to be able to keep track of whether he is accepting new students or not?
