Blue color fade

Well, I guess it's a good thing I got lake blue. I kind of liked eriza verde and when the blue fades it'll just turn into green.

I got this 5 or 6 years ago.
It was "faded blue smokeburst".
It has turned a beautiful shade of teal.

I'm just so excited about getting my first PRS now, I just hope I can find one just like I want it. There's no local store with one in stock, but apparently they can order it from PRS itself if I put a downpayment.
That's one way to do it, sure - but I'd suggest first looking online when you've got the money saved up. It's been awhile since I last checked, but at the time I was told the dealer could order exactly what model I wanted, but it'd be a wait of about 1 year for it to come in. Maybe the backlog has eased? Also, you'd get what you'd get - if the finish isn't what you pictured, you're kinda stuck with it.

Shopping online, you can see all kinds of pictures of what's in stock everywhere, lots more options to choose from to find your perfect one.

I'm all for supporting local stores (more than half of mine have been bought in person), but they've gotta have the guitar I want.
Anyhow, just my 2 cents - regardless, it's great to see your enthusiasm. PRS guitars are pretty awesome!

I only have taken my ‘95 Purple 10-Top out 1 time for an outdoor pic.

My guitar only gets played in my home studio and doesn’t go out anymore.

Here’s a pic of it a few years back when I got it.

It looks more reddish in the pic, but it’s for sure Purple.

It has yet to fade one bit.

If I had put an expensive guitar on a stand next to a body of water for a pic y'all would be looking at a pic of a PRS submarine!

My River Blue McCarty that's 7 years old has lost most of it's blue colour over the years but I still love it and it still looks great!
