Black Marker Serial Number?

I am looking at a used PRS, but I am a bit concerned about a black marker being used for the serial number and 10 top on the rear of the headstock. I’ve never seen anything other than gold paint pen used on PRS’.

Any idea if I’m incorrect in thinking this might be a counterfeit?

This. Of the 8 I have hanging in my basement, 4 are black, 3 are gold, and 1 is silver.

Ok, thanks. Good to know. I looked up other guitars in the same model (it’s a rare PRS Semi-Hollow Singlcut) and the serials are done in gold, so it threw me off.
