Hey guys, I haven't posted on here lately but I got some new gear recently so I thought I might  I turned 20 recently and my parents were nice enough to pay for a good portion of my new amp: Fender Mustang V half stack (pictured below with some other gear I have). I'm still figuring out the amp and the software that comes with but so far so good. Eventually I'll upgrade to a tube someday but this works fine for me right now. Do any of you guys play Fender amps? What do you think of them? Do you play modeling amps? Solid state? And what's your opinion on amp-to-usb software? Lemme know...

Happy birthday, for sure!

I play Fender amps and I love them. My main amp is a Blues Deluxe. It was my first big purchase after getting my first job at age 16 and it's still going strong. It's been a great amp. I'll get it modded one of these days.

I also have a '66 Super Reverb that I played a lot in the early-mid 2000's, but now it mainly sits in the corner because I know I'd regret selling it. LOL I play through it occasionally to remind myself how awesome sounds.

The only modeling amp I've experienced recently was an Axe FX rig, which completely blew away my old negative opinions of modeling amps. The technology has definitely come a long way. I use modeling for playing directly into the computer for practice or recording ideas. I used a POD 2.0 for about 10 years until I finally got Amplitube, which sounds amazing.

Happy belated birthday! Love Fender amps, and really like their Cyber series of modelers.. Still trying to get a decent "Fender" clean tone outta my Mustang III though..

Yeah, I really like this setup. I want Fender to make a Machete amp model on the FUSE software though. That would be cool.
