Just want to offer a big thanks to Forum member Leeric!! Week ago I posted a Signature Series Paul Reed Smith from 1992 I purchased but did not have the right speed knob for the five way switch. I put on a PRS bell knob but they’re a little too dark compared to the vintage ones and Leeric posted he had a spare vintage speed knob in the amber color and after sending him my address free of charge he sent me the knob! Also he’s from Canada and I’m from New York so it cost a little extra postage to send it across the border. So freaking nice of him to do so! Thank you so much! Some really awesome people on this Forum!

Here are before and after photos and I think you’ll agree and the vintage knob looks great on there with the other two, want to keep it time period proper.

Good story! We already knew it though, because you posted it in your ;);) "Private Message Status." :D:D:D Seriously, congrats on the guitar and kudos to forum bros!

Forum brothers rule!

I haven't told many people here, but ScottR gave me a kidney when I needed one. While that's normally a "great" gesture, this one was particularly heroic because it was his last one! He's using some kind of modified second hand moonshine still in place of a kidney. While inconvenient, it makes for a great conversation starter are parties.

Guaranteed to be an ice breaker at naughty parties!

Great people here, a great guy on this forum did me a solid few years back when I needed a nut for my cu22 (thanks again Tom), actually he sent me 2. I installed one and kept the other till yesterday, I gave to a new friend who was working on a cu22 project from scratch and that made me feel sooo good.
Paying forward is great.
