I make a similar statement when people say "do you want your picture taken"! I tell them "I don't want to crack the lens on the camera" or "The world is already suffering enough without additional pictures of me polluting screens" ;~))

Also I don’t understand the whole dentist and lawyer rap, I think I know more Fender players in that camp. Custom shop F and G guitars are priced higher last I checked and I find way more dead spots and flaws with those other companies .

I actually understand how someone could be put off from PRS due to some things he mentioned. After all, PRS should be the best but Paul can't stick to any certain formula it seems... hence some of the finish issues. I'm a PRS fan from yesteryear and not big on much after 2000 or so. I also understand how people like the innovation.

Maybe Paul should test some of his innovations longer before releasing them into production. I can only imagine that it would help the brands rep. Whether anyone likes it or not, there are plenty of people like the OP (whether his story is real or not, who knows) that have spent hard earned money on the best guitar brand with the highest QC only to be let down.

The dead spot though, I've said it before, for the music I play anyway, I love the dead spot. It quickly turns to an awesome controllable feedback that works great for me.

To add to my post.

It's similar to my deal with Carvin. Carvin are pretty cheap considering but given all the hype about how the products are road worthy, great QC, blah blah blah.

I bought my first and last Carvin amp. It had problems right out of the box. They fixed the issue and the few others after until warranty expired. Now I'm left with a crappy sounding boat anchor that puts me off from anything them or Kiesel makes. Nevermind Jeff's attitude.
