...just sold my PRS Custom 24.

It was so bad, it had the worst dead spot on the 12th fret g string.

Never ever PRS again.
Clouding and fading finishes, deadspots, no stainless steel frets, hideous...
i see now how only a lawyer or dentist would pay this amount of money for it.

Wish you all the best with your PRSi
Goodbye

Isn't that a Warren Zevon song? Lawyers, Dentists and money? 😼

I pity the poor sap who bought it off you! Man, that is so low of you to offload it to some unsuspecting sucker.

Don't waste any effort for anybody who's already stepped on the running train for leave. Being rude even in a sarcastic or in an ironic manner is worthless, too.
He may need time and further more attempts to be convinced that his singular experience is not suitable for a general assessment (or collective punishment). And will likely return to PRS.

True is, that a few years back PRS had some quality issues with V12 coating (I deem it was around production year 2014).
If first purchaser of this CU, this could fall under warranty and will be solved by PRS.

There is a phrase that I guy I knew used to use all the time.....

"Everything ain't for Everybody"

It is unfortunate that this brand may not be your thing. I personally dig them myself. But, whatever you feel makes you the happiest is the brand [or model] for YOU. Best of luck in your search for musical bliss. Hope you find your fit.

Just an FYI since you sold the guitar. The dead spot at the 12th fret G string is a improperly cut nut. My 24 had this problem and a new nut solved it. Our guitars had this problem but the majority of PRS owners do not. If this defect was due to manufacturing, everyone would have the problem. On my guitar this problem was on a replacement nut, not factory. But things happen. Thanks for sharing your opinion about PRS guitars.

I Am Just Trying To Understand If It Is A Dead Spot Or Dead Spots? Both Were Said By OP.

Clouding And Fading Finishes. Unfortunately It Happens And Isn't ONLY A PRS Thing.

No Stainless Steel Frets. The Private Stock Department Can Facilitate For You.

Hideous...Beauty Is In The Eye Of The Beholder. After All, You Did Purchase The Guitar So It Must Have Appealed To You In Order To Do So Or Else You Wouldn't Have Done It.

Lawyers And Dentists Comment Makes Me Wonder How Your Troll Posts Must Read On The Gibson Forum Or Some OF The Acoustic Guitar Forums Since Those Price Points As A Whole Are Much Higher. Maybe Those Guitars Are Only For World Leaders Or Something?
