I am looking to buy new (brand new!) PRS 24 Custom, and I know how much they cost:) I live in Northern Virginia not far from PRS HQ.
If you are on the market for that (top 10) were you will go? Online reputable or must be in person guitar shop?
Appreciated help.

I used to live in Northern Virginia before I got sane and moved to Texas...The only place to go is Chuck Levin's Washington Music in Wheaton. Their website shows wait for it...166 PRS Guitars in stock. That is a gigantic number. Since you've got the money to pay top dollar for a new CU24, I'd say take a short drive over there and play everyone you can get your hands on, plus you can see with your own eyes(not pictures) exactly the fit, finish and feel of your new guitar. No waiting for it to come in a truck. There's ALOT of great online dealers out there, but when you're paying many thousands of dollars for a new guitar, nothing compares to taking one with you, out the door, and back home to plug it in..

If they don't have what you're looking for, then and there, they can get one for you.

Good Luck~!

Brian's Guitars. I live in SC and the store is in CT. Flawless transactions, great to work with, and great prices. Give them a shot!

I've bought 2 PRSi from Dave's Guitar Shop in Lacrosse, WI.

They have quite the selection as well!

Wait for it...

Don't take this comment the wrong way WeFixFlats! You've given me another outlet to browse new PRSi. I really need to avoid this forum.

 ;)

I got this at Music Store Live. They're in Vermont, I'm in SC and I've found them great to deal with. I just had the best experience with Brian Harris, my sales rep. Great to work with.

I second Brian's Guitars and I live in PA...I only deal with them now as Brian & Corey are incredible to work with. Their customer service is top notch!!

JD over at www.guitarmaverick.com is great to deal with. Fast shipping and great prices.

JD at Guitar Maverick definitely has great prices and is very customer service oriented...not to mention an all-around good dude.

Doug Diamond at www.wildwestguitars.com always has great PRS inventory and is the man for unique Private Stock builds.

GC Ron (Ron Lucas) at the Cincinnati Guitar Center is one of the most knowledgeable people I know for all things PRS.

Yup, Ron is a great guy to work with too! Derek from Morgan Guitars has given me some killer deals. He has some stuff on blow-out right now too!...

I gotta second this. I grew up in Maryland and the only places I would ever deal with were Chuck's, Bill's in Catonsville and Veneman's in Rockville (back in the day). You can't go wrong with Chuck Levin's and it's a great place to shop with knowledgeable people, PLUS you will get to play the guitar before buying.

I've bought from a few, but none better than Willcutt. The selection is second to none, and my go-to guy, Eric, has bent over backwards to make me a happy customer. He and the shop are very PRS-centric and really know their stuff.

I love doing business with Jack Gretz of Northeast Music Center. Great guy, straight shooter, PRS expert.
