Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to PRS guitars! This last weekend I was on a quest to find a new guitar,and with a couple of hours to kill,I found a great guitar and ended up leaving with it! I played everything in the store that looked decent,and then I played the SE Bernie Mardsen. WoW,this guitar grabbed me from the first couple of notes I played! I understand this was a limited production guitar at first,then it went into there regular lineup,and now it was just recently taken out of production! This guitar beat out many guitars costing 2-3 times as much! I have been playing guitar for almost 50 years and own about a dozen electrics and a few acoustics! I would like more information on this guitar,as in what is so different about it that makes it so special ? All I can say is, PRS makes some very great guitars !!! Hello and welcome. Your Bernie was a collaborative design between Bernie Marsden himself and PRS. The neck was fashioned on Bernie's personal 59 Gibson Les Paul. He refers to that guitar as The Beast.

Spec-wise it has the usual appointments we find on single cut guitars and nothing particularly groundbreaking. The PRS SE builds are consistently good when it comes to quality. What really makes your guitar special is you chose it. Enjoy.
