I just watched a review of the Bernie where it was described as having a standard wide-fat neck. I thought the Bernie neck dimensions were unique to that guitar and were a near enough copy of the neck on Bernie's '59 LP ?

It could be both. Maybe his ‘59 is wide and fat, in the ballpark of the standard Wide Fat carve? So, they just threw a Wide Fat neck on there and called it a day.

This has always been a confusing topic. PRS always stated that it is wide fat, but several other sources state that there is a difference.

See here - https://forums.prsguitars.com/threads/se-bernie-marsden.865/ and here - https://forums.prsguitars.com/threads/bernie-vs-se-245-major-distinctions.16419/.

I have no other W/F guitars so can’t compare to those. I would guess it is in the same ballpark as the Pattern profile I have on another guitar - they feel similar, but different size frets and strings make it a little tough to judge.

I know the *body* is slightly thicker than the 245, but the neck on mine feels like a W/F.
