hello i have a bernie marsden and when i play leads sounds great cords sound like they are wavering even unplugged when strumming all 6 strings open hear a wa wa wa wa wa . everything is in tune and intonated . have been playing for over 20 years none of my other guitars do this and i have many. trus rod adjusted correctly pickups are not too close 1/4 inch away from strings. any ideas

tried that didn't help . seems like the when i strum the g,b and e strings are causing the wavering

ok when i tune the b to the g those two notes sound good together and the b and e are out when i tune the b and e together the g sounds out .

seems like the bridge to me. but if the intonation is correct the tilt of the bridge should'nt matter.? or am i wrong. the bridge does have a slight tilt forward i,m using 10-46 strings

My bridge had some tilt in it that I solved with locking studs. Needs to be higher tolerance in the manufacture of the bridge and studs. Are your strings leaving right at the end of the bridge. They should be, even with a slight tilt.

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious...

Does it do it if you play a barre chord (Thus, ruling out the nut as a cause)? You said it does it when all strings are open.

Are these a new set of strings?

100% sure it's intonated as good as it possibly can be?

Everything secure? Tuning pegs, etc?

strings were put on a week ago all streched out real good. open , 12th fret and 12th fret harmonics right on the money

Go for the Schroeder set up that Mike has. I've put it on 2 SE's with fantastic results. I intend to do it on all of my SE's.
