Bad fret finishing?

Hello everyone, I just bought a PRS SE Standard 24-08, but I've noticed that the frets feel slightly rough right where they meet the wood. My question is, how normal can this be? I’ve had other PRS SE models before and didn’t feel the fret edges. Also, it seems like there is tape under the fret. I would attach images, but I’m new to the forum and don’t know how.

Do you think it can be classified as a factory defect to claim the warranty? Or do you think it’s an easy detail to fix?

No. It's common. Return, get it done, or do it yourself. It's not hard to do yourself but we shouldn't have to. Very unPRS like, err was.
