Behold, my new Custom 20 in limited plum tolex. It sounds as good as it looks and it looks 100,000 times better in person than in these sorry iPhone pics:

Thanks guys. It's a really nice size and weight. It has a very good master volume. Now I need to find a good cover for it.

PRS is offering embroidered covers, apparently there are some for models not listed on the store website.

I can also recommend Studio Slips most highly, both for their standard type covers and for their clamshell covers that encase the entire amp, including the bottom. Very high quality stuff.

I called PRS and unfortunately they do not have a cover that fits this size combo.

Sweet! The Custom 20 is a killer amp and the limited plum makes it that much better!

I had the plum & fawn version of the Custom 20, but I ended up swapping it for the plum Archon 25.

If you only need a dust cover there a a zillion companies that make them, padded or plain vinyl. However, if you move the amp around and want real protection, the Studio Slips clamshells are the best soft covers out there.

I never move move mine from my studio, and I keep them dust free, so I don't bother with covers any more.

I had these guys make covers for me 4x12s. Padding is nice and heavy, good quality stuff. Less expensive than anyone else I made inquiries to as well. https://lecover.com/

I don't need "real protection", except from my cats claws -- you all got any recommendations in that area?

With the mid knob pulled out I'm getting a really great crunch tone on the lead channel.

Wouldn't work for me. My cats can fly, or so it seems. And they love a good flat surface like the top of my amp or better yet "with warms" like the amp head.

Put it on an angled stand. My cat used to sit on top of my Boogie combo, feet and head hanging over the front, every day. Didn't even bother to move when she ralphed-up a hairball and dribbled spew down the speaker grill. Even after removing it and scrubbing it several times, there's still a stain. Feline "patina".

Well, they also like to sharpen their claws, but I think I've trained them not to do that on my amps -- they haven't done it in a couple weeks. And you're right -- they'll still walk on the angled ones, but they won't "hang out". Still, kinda hard when I stack (I tried stacking the head on an angled cab with the front feet hanging over the front edge, but it seemed precarious, so I stopped.)

Thanks for the advice, though, I'll revisit it from that angle, maybe I'll come up with a solution with a shallower angle, but sharp enough to still discourage "hanging out".
