I really like how the rosewood-neck one continues that wood grain/color down onto the body's control plates--same "contrasting" look as the plain black plastic stock ones, only nicer. I've gotta keep this in mind for my own.

Yes that was the intent. The other one's plates match the fretboard( Madagascar Rosewood)
