OK. I feel stupid asking this but how do you change avatar?????

I was trying to change it but not there.

I'm embarrassed by how quickly this petty stuff pi$$e$ me off.

On an iPad, I just tap my user name/picture in the upper right, go down to “Avatar” and off you go!

Click your current avatar...or the blue silouette thingy...at the top right corner of the page. As if you were checking your notifications. Then click your name at the top left next to the envelope icon.

Theres a drop down menu that includes "avatar" click on that and there is a place to attach a file. You can attach a file that's not hosted I think...like a pic from your phone etc....Then update avatar...boom...done and done.

Hope this helps and I didn't cause more confusion. My heart was in the right place either way...so it counts...right?

Threaten your phone with being fed to an aardvark, in a firm but gentle tone.
Turn the phone off to show it you mean business.
Try again.

It's not as easy with your iPhone as it is your computer. Typically, navigating to your avatar and clicking on it. That will bring up a screen. Select "Choose File" and you can select from either your Photo Library or something else. Be sure your image is not too large, though the forum will adjust as necessary.

I changed mine on the iPhone, but it had to be a small picture... 50 kb I think it said. I got an error with regular pics saying the file was too large. Find a pic thats about 200x200 in a lower res and give that a shot! IPad didn’t seem as glitchy.

Hahaha ha. It's embarrassing but I am genetically unable to understand some the navigation skills needed to do these SIMPLE tasks!!!!
