Avandra - Stream the Full Second Album via Blood Music's Bandcamp Now!

Blood Music is extremely proud to present to its roster – Avandra!

One of the first bands to ever be signed from the tropical island of Puerto Rico, Avandra blew us away with their captivating approach to prog metal.

Following in the footsteps of Astronoid and SERDCE, Avandra fuses extremely dexterous performance alongside an otherworldly atmosphere, creating an uplifting and almost alien experience.

Drawing upon further traditional prog influences like Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, and Cynic; the band navigates traditional prog waters with ease but also mixes in some of the most unique vocals to ever be heard in metal, described by some to sound like Seal! (yes that “Kiss from a Rose” Seal)

An odd comparison on paper, but one that works beautifully.

The band's sophomore album is now completed, having been mixed by Dan Schwartz from Astronoid and mastered by Magnus Lindberg from Cult of Luna. Artwork is underway with Travis Smith, who worked alongside us on the "Strapping Young Lad", Moonsorrow, and Emperor official boxes).

All of the above bands are neatly referenced in the band's upcoming opus. Thrilled to share this young band with the world.

One of the last signings for Blood Music.

Chris, this is REALLY good!!!!! As was the first CD. Placed my order! Probably won't get number 1 this time around :D
 
Thank you so much man! The more the album moves in digital and physical CD sales, the closer we get to having a vinyl version! Fingers crossed it gets to that point!
