Yeah, Indy was in the 'fair' zone but then it got overcast. I used to see the northern lights periodically while delivering newspapers as a kid, but haven't seen it since. Always amazing.

The best I ever saw was lying on top of a truck in an oil field less than an hour south of the 60th parallel. It was like watching a painter decorate the sky.
