Why can't I take my guitar everywhere??

First off, I can't believe that Aerosmith only had one, yes one, #1 hit on billboard. That shows that billboard is silly at best.. That song is on the Armageddon soundtrack "Don't wanna miss a thing."
Otherwise, these two are downright dirty rock and blues bands, both have amazing guitarists, singers, rhythm sections, etc. Top notch. I'd have to go with AC/DC tho, just because of Bon Scott's voice. Stephen has a great one, but first time I heard Bon was "It's a long way to the top, if you wanna Rock N Roll" - and the bagpipes in a rock band... who does that? AC/DC that's who, and they are gonna blow your ears right off your head.
