Assistance in Identifying a PRS model from serial number

I've looked at several PRS sites that can assist in id'ing a PRS model.

It's a guitar that I'm thinking of buying. It has gold hardware, trem, 3 knobs (including 6 position), Highly flamed Blue maple top, and Brazilian board with bird inlays. Case and tags. It's a 2004 model by serial, but don't know what model it is or what value is has.

Possible to determine model by serial # ?

It can't be done by serial number, but it would work by MODCAT. You mention it comes with tags, so that will tell you, too.

Based on what you are saying, it would lead me to believe it's an Artist Package of some sort. Is it 22 fret or 24?

Hi, welcome to the forum! 3 knobs and no toggle switch, probably a Custom 22/24, depending on how many frets.

2004 APs didn't have Brazilian fretboards. It could be one of the 500 run Brazilian limiteds which had the name "Brazilian" inlayed under the PRS headstock logo.
