I’ve been gassing as of late for a different PRS model that I don’t have. I’ve been thinking about Cust 24-08 or 594 HBII the most. I’m always playing my private stock MEV all the time and I had another MEV (not a PS) that just stayed under the bed unplayed. So I was able to find someone “local” I’ve had a 594 HBII for sale, met with him and played it for a while. I was impressed with the neck because the first time I owned a solid body 594 I did not jive with the vintage pattern neck. This one I was able to hang my thumb over the top and play without discomfort like I had with my first 594. I even like the funky color so the trade was made and I came home with this one.

I threw on this hummingbird TRC I had laying around, the rosewood color matches the Headstock very well. Now I gotta replace those vintage tuners with locking ones, preferably with something without plastic buttons. But, I’ll take my time before I do that.

My HBII is my daily player, largely because of it's lightness! And between it's switching and my Axe FXIII, I get all I need from it!! Glad you could bond with this model and congrats on a great score!!!
Thanks! Been playing it for a few hours now. I know it's a new toy but I'm really impressed. Even though it has the same pups 58/15LT's as my HBII/Piezo it sounds different and reacts differently. Maybe because of piezo saddles and wraparound bridge vs two piece and no piezo all brass saddles on the 594. I'm impressed and I'm glad it's not just another version of HBII. Both have very unique usable tones.
