A couple of clips from tonight's "First Friday" festivities at Bettie Jack in Glenside PA. Would have liked to have the whole band plug in and play, but prior holiday weekend commitments didn't allow it. So, the three of us did a short, unplugged, acoustic set. Asked a local guy to sit in with us on trumpet. Just trying to dip our toes back into playing out after this pandemic hoopla. I had fun. If you have 5 minutes, give it a watch. Thanks to Betty Jack for having us out tonight and all that came out in support.

(Unfortunately, I misspelled "Bettie" in the video edit. Of course I didn't realize it until it was finalized)

My apologies to those of you who don't have facebook. That is where the video was posted. I hope that those of you who can see it, enjoy it. Nothing all sorts of virtuoso musicianship, but it was fun to get out none the less.

Oh, and that was the A40E unplugged used tonight.

Glad you were able to convince the horn player to join in!! I am sure he enjoyed that as much as y'all!!
He was just sitting there the whole time, smoking cigarettes and clutching his trumpet case. So we laid down a simple chord progression and kept harping him to join in. :D He seemed to have had fun. Like he was satisfied for the day!
