It's interesting though, because when you google search Barry Bailey there's nothing but pics of him with a Les Paul Deluxe. I'd guess he borrowed the guitar for this performance?

Back then, the world was not ready for squabbins, so they had to mask them by various methods.

I'm still not ready for squabbins. I can't stand them. Same for those weird shaped pickup rings on some PRS guitars. I think Paul tries too hard sometimes.

I thought the same thing, but recently saw a specific guitar, in a specific finish and thought the squabbins looked good. I'm still a covers on kinda guy, but there are exceptions to the rules.
