Mr. Arnold Palmer passed away today. He was 87.

I know very little about golf, but I believe I know greatness when I see it. Mr. Palmer was great. Humble, kind, generous, gracious to all, unapologetically open with his emotions, professional, positive... I believe you'd be hard-pressed to find a negative comment about Arnold Palmer. There will never be another like him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and loved ones.

A legend worldwide, and especially here. I live about 10-15 miles from Arnold Palmer Airport. We used to pass it multiple times a year when my son played soccer and had games in the area.

By all accounts a total gentleman.

RIP, Arnie.

The man that brought golf to the masses. Total pro. RIP to a great sports figure, and an even greater man.

Again, I don't know much about golf. But I watch it from time to time on tv.

The thing that always stood out to me about Arnold Palmer was his commitment and his dedication to his profession. He took the gifts and talent he was given and put in the time and effort, and he ended up changing the sport he loved. He always seemed so kind and sincere with people, whether it was fans, or the media, or his fellow competitors. A Good Man.
