But ordered Stripped 58 instead!

In Faded Blue Foil, Moons inlay, 57/08 and a 2 piece bridge which I'm was looking for. Cannot wait! :D

Reason being I was going to upgrade the strings to 10 on the ZM, upgrade the nut, the tuners and even thought about getting a hard case for it....then it hit me. Why not just get a core PRS instead? Clearly that's where I am going with it. All I was doing was trying to turn an SE to a Core PRS.

So I did.

Plus, I've always wanted a blue guitar! Haha

Sweet! I like the foil finishes, they seem to change color as you move them around in the light.

Pics when you get it!

Congrats! Nothing wrong with upgrading but I am a firm believer that there is something magically about the semi-hallow singlecut. Both of my core singlecuts have been on the bench because of the ZM and its mojo.

Thanks guys ! I am await with work this week so won't have it for a little bit yet. But will take plenty of photos when it arrives. Looking forward to see the foil finish in the flesh !

I can understand that, but I have been having second thoughts about since I pre-ordered it, just couldn't figure out why. Even the planned upgrade wasn't really want I really wanted. I am not really someone who buy something half way there and mod it the other half. I am much more a get it how i wanted it from the beginning. I've been looking for a Les Paul for a while, this has ticked that box. Perhaps it's not a real Les Paul but close enough for the time being.

I'm with you on that!

Stunning guitar, congrats!!!

Hey Mike, you are from the UK?! do you know why it is so hard to get a SC245 or a Stripped 58 here with a 2 piece bridge? All the ones I see have the stop tail but one.

Congrats! Looks awesome! Have to agree with themike about the semi-hollow, but there's always room for more guitars later.

The ones I have seen in shops recently (SC245's) have all been wraparounds. Just looking online you're right... There really is very few 2 piece bridges which I'd want if I had the cash.

There's a shop not too far from me called Sound Affects and they have this stunner in...

Aquableux, two piece bridge. Looks great!

Other than that I only found Guitarguitar carrying one with a two piece.

That Aqua Blue is nice, but it translate to almost $4,000 though. That's twice what the Stripped 58 set me back ! (before tax).

edit - but it's signed at the back !

Yep... I know I couldn't justify paying that.

The McCarty prototype is my current dream PRS but I saw the price for the UK. Even if I had the cash I'd get something else (Probably by PRS) because I can't justify paying that amount for a guitar whether I have it or not.

The Stripped 58 you've ordered will be a great guitar... Importing from the US?

I'd possibly go that route myself... Particularly as there's more guitars to choose from. Still have to try one in the UK though to see if I got on with the neck.

I am. I wasn't planning to at all but it's at a price where even after tax (I expect it'll be about £350). It would still come to less than any new PRS here. The other SC245 with a 2 piece bridge in the country is £3,000 at GuitarGuitar so I got this for £1600 there abouts is a good price for a new PRS. Especially is not a colour that you can get anymore unless it is private stock. The critical thing I wanted is the 2 piece bridge and the 57/08's. The birds, the 10 top I can pass on and save the money.

It's this one.
