About anything? I tend to act a little superstitious about sports. What I wear on game day, what coffee cup I drink out of in the morning, etc. Do I really believe it affects the outcome of the game? I'm logical, so not really. I still tend to freak out a bit if something's "off". For example, I only drink red lagers or ales before Badger games. I dropped one during the tailgate. We lost, so I blamed my dropping the beer. ;)

The Ravens have blown FOUR 4th quarter leads...
Injuries, really, really dumb penalties...
But, it's probably really due to me wearing the wrong jersey for that day.

"It's not crazy if it works."
It's not working, so it must be crazy.

I'm not superstitious.

Except for the curse on the Detroit Lions, of course. That's been a proven fact since 1958....

The Chicago Cubs goat curse is what got me thinking about it this morning. I'm wondering how many people have adopted goats down there in the past few months? :)
Will the curse be broken this year? I'm not a baseball fan by any stretch but I'm curious to see how it plays out. Not curious enough to actually watch any baseball though.

I am only superstitious with respect to watching my favorite sports teams on TV . If my favorites start losing too many games that I watch, then I will stop watching the games in the hope they will win.

This sounds a bit weird, but as my wife says, I am not normal........

FYI - Many of my favorite teams are perennial losers (Example - New York Jets - remember Joe Nameth)

I'm the same on baseball. But when I accidentally heard the Cubs were in a playoff, I was like, "WHUT?"

I'm living in Bizarre-o-world over here.

Agree. I don't feel I'm particularly superstitious, but I do believe in Karma!

and of course my dogma has been runover by your karma. I ain't superstitious but I feel lucky when I spell it right first time.

I fear a long, cold, crappy season.

On the upside, I predict a plethera of new blues music coming out of Maryland....

I live in a colonial with my wife, my son when he is home from college and two springer spaniels...and a ghost named Bob. Yup, you will all think I am nuts but there is a ghost in our house. Proof is all three of us have seen him independently, one of the dogs feels safest sitting in the hallway late at night where he stands and the other will not ever sit in the hallway at night. The land that my house was built on was a civil war war games site so I am sure there are ghost remnants it the area.

He is friendly but he knows "stay away from the flame tops" they are NOT fire wood.

I have empathy for the Baltimore Ravens fans in this forum. Please take pity on my "other" team - the San Diego Chargers. This could be a long year for both teams.

I can get rid of him for you. I've lived in three places that roommates have sworn were haunted. The second I showed up it all ended.... I think I smoked 'em out.

Miracles do happen about every 100 plus years. Cubs fans should enjoy it while it lasts.

The problem is everybody is now a Cubs fan here. I mean not a real Cubs fan mind you, it's not like people are drunk during the day and urinating in public with those rape-y eyes the true fans have.
