Are the new pickup rings compatible with old PRS guitars?

PRS changed their humbucker pickup rings in 2011. The new ones have rounded edges and nice recessed holes for the pickup screws. But in pictures it kind of looks like the mounting screws for the rings themselves are also smaller. Is that the case, or am I just seeing things?

Is it possible to buy a set of new pickup rings and put them on an older (pre-2011) PRS guitar?
 
Absolutely. I just bought a set from Mannmade for my 2002 CU22 and they look amazing. They are a real work of art actually......much nicer than the originals.
 
Yep. They fit older USA models and they also fit SE's. The screw holes match up exactly.
If you have covered pups, you may have to file out a little bit of each corner of the pup rings. Covered buckers are a very tight fit.
