I have a SE Santana and the bridge creaks when used with tremolo arm. Can it take a USA PRS bridge as a no mod swap?

PRS USA bridges are a direct swap.

I recommend the John Mann bridge. Its the same thing as the PRS bridge in size and shape. However, it's superior as its one piece solid bronze (sustain block and base plate are fused) and its considerably cheaper. Plus, John has an excellent video for installation.

Usually when a bridge is "creaking" or not feeling 100% smooth in operation, it means the mounting screws are NOT adjusted properly. If it is severe or the guitar just won't stay in tune, you may have a damaged knife edge.

Watch my setup video here to see how to set it up properly.

Thankyou to all for the help. I took it to my local and he did some nut work but said the creaking is from the metal to metal contact within the bridge. I may switch this out in the future. I will give it some time and a workout. If it struggles to keep in tune or tramsmits to the amp I will swap it out.
