Are boutique pedals a scam?

"Boutique" is only boutique until someone labels that company "boutique". Or something like that. Anymore, people tend to throw that label around based on price mark alone. If I could get as much enjoyment as I do out of my Strymon pedals for $150, you know, damn well, I'd do it. But that DSP is expensive and I have no prob paying for stuff that truly delivers the goods. If it floats your boat and you can afford it, then who the **** has the right to question it? Play and let play. I'm with Sergio...keep it positive (until someone crams a sour apple down your throat, then LOOK OUT). :D
