Are 58/15 really covered 85/15?

I keep reading claims about 85/15 and 58/15 being the 'same' pickup except one being covered and the other is not.
Is this true? Physically I mean. regardless of what the tone difference would be.

Looking at resistance specs, they show the same values. And the EQ pics show 58/15 with slightly less treble which works with comments about covered pups.

Also, what does the 'TM' stand for? I always just thought it means 'trademark', but maybe not...

TM means 'trademark'. Paul Smith has said in at least one interview that they're the same pickups, but one has covers.
