They should be a direct swap for 6L6s, but I would check with the PRS folks to be sure. They were always very good about replying to my technical queries.
I got an email reply from PRS today. The plate voltage is to high in the 50w Archon to run the 5881s. I've posted an ad on another forum to sell my 5881s or trade for some 6L6s.
