April 1989 Guitar Player: Johnny Shines, Paganini and CAGED!

I have a new blog post in my "Thirty Years Ago" series. This time I re-read the April, 1989 issue of Guitar Player and it was really good! I was particularly struck by interviews with Robert Johnson's friend and fellow bluesman Johnny Shines, by a look at Paganini's love for the guitar, and by what is the earliest CAGED lesson I've ever seen.
