Was looking at StewMac but tbh I don’t like the idea of paying half the value of my guitar to care for my guitars, so I looked around in EU and came across Frtlzr, anyone used them or tried it?

I Will Say When It Comes To Proper Tools You Do Get What You Pay For No Matter Who Makes Or Sells Them. Buy Right And Take Care Of Them And You Buy Once (Unless You Wear Them Out From Use).

Totally agree the poor man buys twice, but reviews on the fret kisser are less then favourable

The fret kisser works great for what it’s meant for. It’s NOT meant for someone who doesn’t do regular work on guitar frets or is not a tradesman in general. Most guys can’t even change a tire these days let alone fix a high fret on a precision instrument.

So many report of it working 2/3 times and then dead

Reviews Are A Mixed Bag. Now A Days There Are So Many People Being Paid To Make Positive Or Negative Reviews Or People Saying Things That Have No Skill Or Idea On Things. I know You Know All This But It Is Worth Mentioning. Hopefully You Find Some Proper Tools At A Great Price And Can Tackle Whatever Your Needs May Be And Have Success. :)

So I guess we’ll see in half hour or so but in genera the items nice, basic easy and lightweight, I’ve either trashed my frets or fixed a number of high frets

Well all went ok and frets fixed and polished nicely, unfortunately it didn’t fully resolve the issue and there seems to be some sympathetic vibration/ resonance on the G which I can’t seem to resolve. Still plays well and sounds great

Polished up the frets on the last acquisition - the SE Soapbar, came up to a mirror shine so have no problems with the tools and if in Europe wanting something more reasonable price to keep your guitars in shape I’d say it’s a good option.
