I'm going to say late 2010 or early 2011. 2011 was the first year of the 53/10 and Phase III tuners on core guitars. Yet it was also the first year to feature the blade switch instead of the rotary, so it could be a transitional guitar.
Rosewood neck and gold hardware have been options off and on over the years.
We'll need more pics of the beast in its natural environment!Thank you all all for the replies!
B-stock is just Thomann's way of labeling guitars that are no longer untouched. Customer returns are sold again as B-stock, meaning you get a discount and there might be a fingerprint or other lesser signs of use on it. You still get full warranty and all. This one was sold with a discount because it had been sitting in their showroom.
I should get the guitar on Monday! I'll give an update with the serial number then.
Gorgeous neck!Hi again guys, and thanks for all the new comments!
I got a response from Thomann, with some pics one of their workers had taken of it.
It's indeed a 2010 model.

Ah, phase 2 tuners. That would put it more in line with what was available in 2010. I bet with 53/10s it's going to be a pretty unique and sweet custom 24.
It looks delish! My avatar pic is a 2010 with quilt top and 53/10s. Custom 22 based though
So if you're buying it from thomann, does that mean you're in the EU? UK perhaps?Yeah! I'm hoping the rest of the specs will turn out to be as advertized! Can't wait for Monday![]()
