I'm concerned about protecting the back of my S2 from buckle rash, and I found this protector. It's non-adhesive, but, there's a "disclaimer" saying that it was developed specifically for polyurethane finishes, and that it should not be put on a Nitro finish until the finish has cured for a minimum of one (1) year. But, PRS guitars are not finished with Nitrocellulose, right? So, I shouldn't be concerned? Thanks for any input you might share.

Early DGTs were nitro; the runs of "Teds" were nitro; most Private Stocks are nitro; the satin Modern Eagles are nitro; other runs were, too.

If your S2 is gloss finished you should be fine using it.

You can go for the Lederhosen :

Or just wear a Kilt :

That poodle wants some of that action zone... with mustard.

LOL!!!!
Not to mention the "Extra large snack sack!"

(You can't imagine the self restraint it took for me not to post when that pick was first posted...)

Well, four years later, and I sold the last S2 with the back finish protector still on! It did protect the finish from wearing off, but did not prevent “deep” rubs from the belt. I did go with a Musician’s Belt- which also helped. My goto PRS is a nice CE-24. A beauty!
