I had an older version of Photoshop, I think 7.
Then a few years back I found Adobe Elements 10 which includes Photoshop Elements and the movie maker called Premier Elements.
I just installed the Premiere one, and installed the Photoshop one a year or so ago.

Reason I installed Premier was Windows Movie Maker works OK for using AVI movies from some digital cameras, but both my GoPro and my new Canon Rebel T5i I bought last year use Apples MP4 format, and neither will open in Windows Movie Maker on XP.
I hear they do open though on Windows 7 Movie Maker.

I am going to try and shoot a small two part guitar video instead of trying it all in just one movie, so hopefully Elements Premier here will allow me to stitch two movies together, then save the file for uploading to YouTube.
Anyone familiar with The Premier movie software from Adobe, and if so, do you like it?

I kind of miss using titles and transitions in my videos which I use to use in Windows Movie Maker when I had cameras that has an AVI movie format instead of the current MP4 like my newest cameras have.
Hopefully I can do all that kind of stuff with this new software.

I've only used a previous version, although I do have Premiere Elements 10 for my Mac. I've only used iMovie thus far on the Mac.

I've had a very love-hate relationship with video software. I used earlier versions of PE, some Sony software and one other thing on my Windows PC. I never found anything that gave me everything I wanted. If it did good transitions, the titles weren't good. If the titles weren't good, something else was lacking. Thus the three or four different things I used in tandem. I've kind of forced myself to be content with iMovie thus far, although it does some things I don't like.

I'm sure if we jumped up to the pro-level software, it would be much better, but I can't convince myself it's worth it. I tend to overbuy on my music equipment...

Thanks Alan.
I have some movie maker software as well on my iPad Air, but I do not feel like having to transfer two videos over to it, and then work with that small screen.
I would rather do this on my main PC.

Yeah - I can't imagine doing my editing on an iPad, at least not serious editing.

I've never found a video editor that I was 100% happy with. I've used two or three products at times to edit a single clip to get everything I wanted the way I wanted.
