Anyone think it’s weird?

I also think turnaround time is an issue for USA guitars. Some S2’s still popping up with the old specs. The NF3 would fit in nicely with their bolt on guitar line now. But I don’t see them offering something that could compete with their Myles and NF53 so soon after their release

I think it's about testing the waters without much resource investment and risk to see if there's a market for a Maryland Nf3 ver 2.

Not interested in stapletop pickups either lol

I assume the Studio is close enough to the original NF3 that it won’t likely resurface in the US made lines.
Maybe I should do everyone a favor and buy a Studio so that shortly after my purchase they would reissue the NF3 or introduce a new variant.

I think it might be time for a comeback of the US model. Think about it. When the original NF3 came out back around 2010 it wasn’t exactly a typical PRS and it’s understandable people were wary of them. They didn’t sell well and were discontinued.

Fast forward to today and it’s a much different story. The Silver Sky came out to a huge buzz. It was more similar to a strat with some unlikely specs and had John Mayer’s name attached. It’s been hugely successful and raised both awareness and acceptance of that type of bolt on from PRS. We see it continuing to play out with the Fiore, Myles Kennedy, and NF 53.

I’m hoping they’re using this as a way to test the waters to bring back the core model.
