Anyone notice John Mayer guitar in new live videos? Matte Black?

Can anyone tell what it is I am seeing? Is this a matte black Silver Sky ? Many YouTube videos of him recently playing this matte black or dark matte grey guitar. Thanks for any advice. I dig that guitar.

Yeah, it's like a matte grey. Someone here posted pics of him playing it, and zoomed in just below the bridge is the lettering "Prototype". There was something else written there, too, but I can't remember what it was.

Here is one thread, but there was another somewhere.

New core Silver Sky color ? Or a one-off for Mayer ?

Pewter or Platinum satin ? From last night's free show at the Hollywood Palladium. Appears to be a sticker under the bridge too.
