Anyone have a Santana MD?

I know someone else was looking at one a few (several?) months ago. I don't remember what the consensus was. I played one years ago and like it, including the MD, which I think has some detractors. It sure didn't stay in the catalog for long.

I love the look of the Santana model but it's not really been my thing when I've tried them out.

i played one, i'm not sure about the master voicing switch depending on the two 9 volts (battery drain?) ... it was surprisinly jangly, almost like a rick, but i can't really find any info on this model other than a few youtube vids.

Oh I see, thanks i'm not a big fan of active pickups in guitars. I'll be curious to see if anyone on here has one of these.
